Restoration Business Since
Our Story
Prime Restoration is a water damage restoration company, an IICRC Certified Firm and a licensed Michigan residential builder, led by founder and CEO Cole Hartwell, an certified water damage restoration specialist. As a family water damage restoration business since 1988, our mission is to provide Southeast Michigan homeowners and businesses with honest, high-quality restoration services when they need it most. From water damage, fires, and storms to mold remediation and full reconstruction, we have grown into one of the region's most trusted restoration companies.
Prime Restoration is a family water damage restoration business since 1988. Our family has dried out water-damaged Michigan homes since 1988, and Prime Restoration carries that work forward with a crew on site in 25 minutes, 24/7, across Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Huron Counties.
As a locally owned and operated company serving Macomb County, Oakland County, Washtenaw County and Huron County, we understand the unique challenges Michigan property owners face — from frozen pipes in winter to severe summer storms. Our team lives in the communities we serve, and we treat every home and business as if it were our own.
Across every Macomb and Oakland County job, the Prime Restoration crew works to one standard: arrive when we say we will, do the work to the level we would want in our own homes, and price each project from the actual moisture readings and affected square footage instead of a boilerplate scope. Free on-site estimates before any equipment is dropped, and a written, detailed line-item reconstruction estimate before any rebuild begins.

“Had a really good experience with Prime Restoration for mold remediation. They were professional, clear about the process, and actually made me feel confident about the process. Not pushy. I'd definitely recommend them around Bloomfield Hills”
