It is a short written plan for each of your buildings that answers the questions every emergency starts with: where the shutoffs are, who can approve the work, how the crew gets in after hours and what has to be protected first. Prime Restoration builds it with you for free after one walkthrough. When something happens, you make one call, and the crew arrives with the answers already in hand.

Inside the plan
Water main, fire sprinkler riser, gas and electrical shutoffs, with a photo of each and directions a night manager can follow.
The names and numbers of the people allowed to authorize emergency work, in order, so drying starts on arrival instead of after a round of phone calls.
How the crew gets in at 2 a.m.: key holder, lockbox or alarm contact, and loading or service entrances.
Server rooms, inventory, records, medical or food-service areas, and tenant spaces that have to be protected first.

Insurance pays for covered damage; it does not tell a crew where the sprinkler riser is at 2 a.m. or who can approve work. The plan shortens the time between the call and the first dry reading, which is where downtime and extra damage come from. Some claims also have short filing deadlines. In Macomb County, a sewage or storm water backup claim must be filed in writing within 45 days.
