Field Operations · Full-time · On-call rotation
Restoration Technician
The core field role — the person who shows up at 2 a.m. to four inches of water and starts making it better.
$20–$30 / hour
Based on experience. No restoration experience needed — we start you at $20 and pay for your IICRC certification. Overtime after 40, and on-call pay on top of your hours.
Sterling Heights, MI · Macomb & Oakland County · (586) 277-1069
What you will do
- Extraction, containment, and setting air movers and dehumidifiers to an actual drying plan — not just filling the room with equipment
- Moisture readings, and knowing when the meter is lying to you: read over a fastener or flashing and you will chase a number that is not there
- Reading a thermal image honestly — a cold spot is a temperature difference, not proof of water, until the meter confirms it
- Photographing conditions before, during and after, because the documentation is what gets the job paid
What we are looking for
- Valid driver’s license and a clean enough record to drive our trucks
- Comfortable in crawl spaces, attics, and around Category 3 water in full PPE
- Reliable on an emergency rotation — water damage does not keep business hours
- IICRC certification is a plus, not a requirement — we pay for it once you are here
No resume needed
Give us your name and a phone number and we will call you. We would rather talk through what you have actually done than read a page about it. Applications get a reply the same day.
